Service Background: Regardless of how many firms you switch to, you are only given one UAN in your lifetime. Even though the UAN is the same for each job you have, each employer must set up a fresh PF account using the same UAN. The following details are available for all organizations in the “Service Details” section:
- Members’ ID
- Name of Member
- Name of the Organisation
- Joining Date for EPS, FPS, and EPF
- End date for EPF, EPS, and FPS
UAN Card: The ‘View’ tab on the UAN login page also allows you to view your UAN Card. You can download this card or show it while making an offline withdrawal or transfer at the EPF office.
EPF Passbook: The ‘View’ menu also has a Passbook alternative. Although www.epfindia.gov.in offers this alternative, You must choose “For Employees” from the menu under “Services,” then click on “Member Passbook” and enter your UAN and password (just as with the e-Sewa Portal). To log into the passbook, click the Member ID after that.
Manage: On the web page, you may also manage and change a few details on your own.
You may manage your contact information through the site by registering your email address and mobile number. For updating the contact number, you will be sent an authorization pin for the new number. Once you enter the pin in the designated field, your cellphone number will be instantly updated. On the UAN Member Portal, you may change a new email ID in a similar manner.
KYC: An EPF member can update their passport, bank account, PAN, and other KYC information. Before updating the KYC information against the member’s UAN, the relevant authorities confirm the information.
Online Services: Through the website’s portal, you may access several kinds of online services, including:
Claim (Forms 31, 19, and 10C): Effective in February 2017, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) released updated composite claim forms for requesting a complete or partial withdrawal of PF. There are three forms in the claim section: Forms 31, 19, and 10C. However, in order to submit a Composite Claim Form to request a complete or partial withdrawal, Aadhaar needs to be linked to a UAN.
Transfer: Another option is to ask to have your PF funds moved from an old account to a new one. However, before submitting an application for a PF transfer, ensure that your KYC information is accurate on the official website, your old and latest bank account information, and your IFSC number have been added to the UAN database system.
