• At an HDFC ATM

• Through HDFC net banking

How to Generate HDFC Credit Card Pin Through an ATM

Once you receive your HDFC credit card, please visit any nearest HDFC ATM with your credit card to generate the PIN. Before going to the ATM, make sure you have received an OTP (one-time password) on your mobile phone, as it is an essential part of the process.

If you haven’t received your OTP by this time, call HDFC’s credit card customer care and ask for the OTP so that you can generate a PIN for your card.

After receiving your OTP visit the ATM and follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Insert your HDFC credit card into the ATM machine. Choose your language of preference from the list of options.

Step 2: Click on the option that says ‘Create a new ATM PIN using OTP’.

Step 3: Enter the received OTP on your registered number

Step 4: Enter your mobile number on the next screen, and then tap “Next.”

Step 5: Now you can type any 4-digit PIN of your choice

Step 6: Type the PIN again for confirmation and click on “Submit”

When you finish setting up your PIN, you will receive a message on your registered number that the new credit card PIN is generated successfully.

How to Generate HDFC Credit Card Pin Online

If you’re an existing HDFC net banking user, you can generate a credit card PIN instantly through the same interface. If you don’t have an online account, you can register for HDFC credit card net banking using your new credit card.

Once you have an access to your online account you can easily generate the PIN following these steps:

Step 1: First of all, Login into your HDFC Netbanking account

Step 2: Click on the “ Cards” option from the drop-down

Step 3: Now click on the “Credit Card” option

Step 4: Click on the “ Request” button followed by the “ Instant PIN Generation” button.

Step 5: You will be provided with a drop-down, select your card and click on “ Continue”

Step 6: Enter a 4-digit PIN of your choice, then enter the same PIN again for confirmation and click ‘Continue’ to proceed.

Step 7: Confirm the received request for new PIN generation

Step 8: Fill in your contact number and click on “Continue” to receive the OTP

Step 9: Enter the OTP and click on “ Continue”

Once you are done, the screen will show a message saying that your new credit card PIN has been generated. Now you can use your credit card with no issue.
